      NC Key Man staff are exceptional. I needed a new key fob for my car they were able to make me a new one and rekey my car. Everyone there was very friendly and willing to help. We have used them to change the locks in our house and for all keys needing to be made! You won’t find better quality or service!

      If I could I would give this place zero stars. I don’t usually leave reviews, but I needed to tell others about my experience. The way they treat their customers is terrible. I took my ignition switch off my truck to take it to this store to be fixed, then the owner or manager started to ask me questions like “Who removed this switch?”, “Your new key is not cut right,” “Your old key is worn out,” and “Who cut your new key?” They we’re asking so many question. In the end they said that they couldn’t help me and to take my switch somewhere else. The only explanation I can think of is that as they couldn’t rob me doing the whole job, they got mad and decided they didn’t want to fix my old switch. I just want to make it clear that we have the liberty on how we want to fix our things. You can’t refuse service to someone just because they wanted to save some money. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place…

      First we would like to thank you for your review. As in any situation there are always two perspectives as to what occurred. Just for clarity we would like to express that you were not charged a fee in any way for the interaction you have described. In fact the real complaint it seems to us is the fact that we refused to provide you any service. With that said we would like to explain why you were denied services. We are a company based on integrity over money. We feel that due to the nature of our business it is very important for us evaluate every situation independently and insure that if we feel there is anything askew about a situation that at the very least we refuse to provide service and if needed contact local law enforcement as to what we may feel is a public safety concern. You were denied service for the following reasons. 1. You were asked many questions when you came into our business because we have received several complaints from customers about an individual matching your physical description as well as the type of vehicle you were operating as a person that is providing locksmith services without a license and is causing undo damage to people’s vehicles, charging excessive prices and leaving jobs incomplete. 2. The lock you presented as being a problem had missing pieces and when asked where they were you stated the parts were still in the vehicle. When asked who cut the key, you at first stated you did, then quickly changed to it was a “mobile locksmith” which you refused to name. Leading us to feel that reason number 1 was even more possibly accurate. 3. When asked how you removed the lock your explanation is impossible and most likely the lock was removed by using a specialized tool that is supposed to be available to only licensed locksmiths. When you were questioned about this you admitted to using a”wire” and then reverted to your original explanation which we knew was not possible. This lead us to believe that reason 1 was even more of a possibility. 4. Lastly during our interaction you became increasingly agitated as we asked questions. In fact you were the one that requested we return you property, which we did. At this point because of the conversation with you and the previous knowledge we had explained in reason 1 we refused to provide any services. We did refuse to assist you with your situation. We in no way were “mad” as you stated but in fact very concerned from a public safety angle that assisting you was not in the best interest of the general public.

      Quoted me over the phone and with a questionable key, was able to keep to his quoted price. I’m very thankful for their services. They were respectful and diligent about taking care customers in store and calling in.
