  I went to Lowes to have a key made. Staff was not available to help me. I saw the Minute Key machine and decided to help myself. It was quick and easy. Plus I was able to store the profile in the cloud

  I found the Minute Key machine conveniently located in a local Lowes store. There was a line of customers waiting their turn, so the service is really popular. I counted around 15 keys made before it was my turn. The process is fully automatic; a scan function makes all the decisions about copying the key. The copy can be made in a wide variety of types and styles. I paid by credit card, but cash is also possible. All four of my keys worked properly after a quick rub to deburr them.

  I recently used Minute Key and unfortunately the blanks the machine chose were the wrong ones, so the keys did not work. That was probably human error in loading the blanks. I countacted customer service and they immediately agreed to issue a refund. I have used Minute Key in the past and the past and there have been had no issues.
