Mac's has been able to make me keys other places haven't been able to make. It is an awesome shop. While they cut your new keys you can check out there self-defense items. Lots of fun knives and the like.

Hands down these guys are the best in town for key needs of any kind. My family & I use them personally & my husband also uses them for business needs. They're super knowledgeable & great for specialty things like key faubs. They very accommodating as long as they have enough time to do the job you want done. Go see them!!!

Bad time management, gets orders incorrect and blames customer, no leadership in shop.

First, I tell him I need a proximity key for Subaru Ascent. He said he had one and told me to come back and he would program it while I was gone. Toward the end of the day he finally calls me and tells me he was unable to program it because I told him the wrong vehicle (Subaru Forester). I know what car I have and wouldn't have told him anything other. He said he would order me another key.

Weeks later I called and asked if it was in. It was. I went in again and he said it would be an hour to program. I go to get lunch and come back in an hour. My car hasn't been touched. He just says he is too busy helping people that came in AFTER me. There are 3 other technicians in the shop and he is running around trying to help everyone. He doesn't delegate or lead, he just tries to do everything himself while others just stand around. After another 45 min he FINALLY gets to me. Takes 15 min to try and program and said the key didn't work and he has to order ANOTHER one! 2 hours of waiting and walk out of there empty handed.

Needless to say, I will be avoiding this company from here on out.

I lost my purse over the weekend and had a lot of keys to replace: home, business and car.  Several people at Mac's helped at different times, but they were all very courteous and helpful.  I was able to get all my locks replaced and new keys made in just two days.  I would recommend Mac's for any of your lock and key needs!

Wouldn’t recommend using these guys if you’re needing you’re car unlocked. Lost the keys to my truck called these guys to get it rekeyed and made. They ask for the title and the bill of sale which I sent to them. They told me they would be able to get to me Wednesday morning they only had 3 things to do that day. So about 12:00 Wednesday I called asking if they where still going to come because I had gotten a call from them all morning. They said yes they would be around that afternoon. Again I called at 3 asked if they where still coming they said yea we will be there around 4  called at 4 was told they be there at 5 called at 5 was told they get me done tomorrow morning again same thing on Thursday so about 12:30 I called another company who was there to service me on about 20 mins. It’s now Friday and these guys still haven’t called me. So I doubt they even know I had another company do it.

COMMERCIAL CUSTOMERS STAY AWAY! We had used Mac's for years in our commercial complex, and over that time they became increasingly difficult to work with.

They have held our key chart hostage, and refused to let us access it, as we transition to a new contractor. If you work with them currently, or are forced to work with them, INSIST that you retain possession of the chart, or they will use it against you. We now have to invest thousands of dollars into a new key chart, for absolutely no reason.

Their response time was astronomical, with little to no communication or coordination. They would show up for urgent jobs outside of business hours, or with no notice, and leave quickly when maintenance was not on site to respond.

Their customer service was very rude and demeaning, and on multiple occasions they would tell us that we didn't have a contract with them, and refused to look for it. I would need to ask for the specific person I normally worked with, and most times he was not there, forcing me to come back on multiple occasions.

I personally have used them for personal use as well, and have had the same experience, rude and unhelpful customer service, and long response time.

Stay away from this company if you can.
