  Locked my key in my apartment and called them. I was told 15-20 minutes since I was so close. That didn’t happen at all. They proceeded to give me the run around for 3 hours until after 1 am. I had to keep calling them for updates and they’d tell me the tech would call me, never did. Finally got a tech who called to say 30 minutes…that came and went. I called at the 35 minute mark of when the already delayed service was supposed to arrive and the tech had a story about getting pulled over. I called customer service back a fourth time and she assured me I’d get a call asap. Also didn’t happen. I got a call 30 minute after I was supposed to and the tech said he was 5 minutes away. When he shadowed up he was “on overtime”. I let him try because I felt bad about wasting his time and it was 2 am and I wanted to get into my apartment by any means necessary at that point but ultimately ended up going with a different company I called when they did show up in time. Everyone has off days and I understand that, but leaving customers hanging and stringing them along for hours is irresponsible and legitimately dangerous. Luckily I had my car keys so I was able to stay warm and listen to a podcast while I waited for a company that actually did what they promised and showed up in the time they promised.

  My first KeyMe key was made of titanium and broke. Luckily, the key was on file and I printed a new brass key without any trouble. This is an extremely convenient service and I highly recommend it all the time. Update: the company contacted me immediately to provide customer service regarding this broken key. Very courteous.

  As a Realtor, I come across plenty of scenarios in which I need keys to be copied quickly, and (more importantly) correctly the first time. KeyMe makes it super easy to get keys made on the fly!
