  These guys are amazing! Very professional and provide high and exceptional quality work. We had them out to repair door locks and they did amazing job. Can duplicate keys that other places could not at couple bucks a piece. Would love to do business in the future.

  I've had several Ford cars over the years and all that had a smartkey or remote would allow the user to program another if he had two already programmed to the car. My story involves my 2017 Ford Escape I purchased in June 2016. The remote for my Escape has a high security key. The only time the key is needed is if the battery is dead as it is then the only way to get into the car. The only key slot is on the driver's door. I always wanted to get an extra remote so if something happened to one of the original two, I could program another without having to pay the dealer to program it I checked with this company a few years ago to see if they were able to cut a Ford high security key, They said they weren't set up to do so at the time, but check back with them later because they probably would be soon. I figured I'd get a remote from eBay when they went down in price. I think they were going for $150 or more at that time. Last July I found one on eBay for $23.99 with free shipping. Using the instructions in the owner's manual I was easily able to program it. I wasn't in any rush to get the key cut. The locksmith is right around the corner from a Hallmark store I go to a few times a year. It could wait. I think I went in a little before Christmas. The person behind the counter told me cutting a key would cost $45 and they wouldn't guarantee it would work. Not sure how different this would be from me putting $45 on the counter and just leaving. He also told me that a key wouldn't let me start the car. I'm a little surprised he just didn't call me a car thief. I'm going to guess stealing cars isn't a common pastime for 70+ year old guys like me. At least I learned that this is not someone I'd like to do business with.
