I am so glad that I researched whether a Locksmith can do a Key Fob replacement.  My elderly mom (non technology savvy) accidentally washed the key and didn't know what to do.  I was able to call Waldo Smith (from Texas), given them the details, and they were able to get everything up and running in a couple of days.  My mom forgot the instructions that the locksmith gave her and they were patient in re-explaining the details.  Thanks Waldo Smith, I can't tell you how much you really helped my family out.

Great service! I was locked out of my Range Rover and lost the metal key to get in, and the FOB got wet so was not working. I called the dealership and they told me it could cost a few THOUSAND dollars to get in without the metal key because they may damage my vehicle to gain access. Seemed ridiculous coming from the dealership. I called Waldo Smith instead and they set me up to have someone come to my house. Nick came out to Raleigh and got into my vehicle and programmed new FOBS within 5 minutes, then quickly cut me new metal keys incase the battery ever died. I paid well under what the dealership quoted me and got 10,000% better service. I would HIGHLY recommend using this service!

I originally went to get a spare key with chip  for my Chevy Silverado.  Customer service was outstanding.  After she programmed the key for me she mentioned that they could get and program a keyless entry fob for me.  The truck was sold originally without keyless entry.  I told her to check on it and let me know cost.  I was sure it would be $350 to $400 as the Chevy dealers had quoted.  They also said it would take several hours to update the onboard computer to work the keyless entry.  Waldo Smith Lockmith called me later and told me $80 plus tax.  I came in on Monday and it was programmed in less than 1 minute.  I highly recommend Waldo Smith Locksmith for value and honesty.

Very personable. I was having a horrible time because someone stole my other vehicle and my other set of keys as well. I had no transportation. Waldo's was great my wife locked her keys in the trunk of her car and they where there in 20 mins and was able to open the doors within 10 mins also help retreave the keys from the trunk I'd  recommend them to anyone that could use there service thanks Waldo's

The reason for the 3 stars is I was quoted $95 for a new deadbolt lock and installation. They charged me $107 to keep my original lock and add two screws.   Waldo called me and explained that my lock was an abnormal lock and wasn’t what the technician expected. This was the reason for the difference. The service was excellent. My only regret was for better communication. I would probably use them again.

It was great and they made every duplicate of a key I have and every single one works great.

5 star!! I wish 10 stars was an option. I called Waldo’s and they help me when I was in a bind! Our business is over an hour away from them and they worked me in, fixed the lock, and made me 4 extra keys. This is a great business.

Mike, the technician, installed 3 dead bolt locks for me.  He was punctual, courteous and worked steadily until the job was finished and cleaned up the debris.  Highly recommend this company.

Very friendly Rep and locksmith. I had them come to unlock my car did great.  Turned around and lost my key called them to come cut me a new key . He was prompt and friendly,  but there is a problem with this new key , and they want come fix it . Wants me to pay again.

Awesome service. I needed some new FOBIK (keys) programmed for my Dodge Caravan. I already had the FOBIKs, I just needed them programmed. I called Waldo Smith and they told me to stop by with the van, old key and new keys. They came out to my vehicle and in a matter of minutes they had my new FOBIKs programmed and I was on my way. They did all this at closing time. They provided a great service at a price that is a fraction of what the dealer would have charged.

Words cannot express how comfortable this place made me feel. The service was e excellent! We took our pup in and man alive, the music  was some of my favorite.

Can’t make a scooter key. Unbelievable.

Hi Josh, we are sorry we could not help your situation. However, your scooter is a European scooter that is equipped with an immobilizer.  Even if we could have made you a key it would not even crank the scooter as the key has to programmed to the scooter. It is the downside of owning a European scooters. We did not charge you a penny for your present situation and gave you the info on how to get your scooter going by taking it to Vespa in Greensboro to get you going. Even they can’t make you a key. They have to replace the lock system in order to get it going. We are very sorry we couldn’t help you. Have a great day!
