  Stopped in to pick up some needed items. This hardware store has excellent selection, and it's nice to have it nearby in the local community. Anytime you can save a walk through the vast warehouse of Home Depot, I say go for it. They had everything I needed and I was able to travel there and back on foot in less than an hour, always nice for a pedestrian. The prices were not too bad--I paid a little more than expected. My only complaint is that the employees weren't wearing their masks over their noses, at a time when public safety is paramount.

  The wife and I bought a house recently. We have been into southside hardware at least half a dozen times so far. They remember you. They are very helpful and have great suggestions. Definitely the best hardware store to visit.

  5 star service from the employees here. Every time I open the door, I am greeted with an offer of help. The staff is very knowledgeable and work hard to help find a solution. I highly recommend this hardware store. It is one of the last great independent hardware stores left.
