Went there today first time. I've been chasing a PM for 2 weeks now and other shops are all constantly a week out. Port Side actually answered the phone and invited me over for same day service. Jumped right on my truck and had me out of there. Even gave me sound advice about some minor things I questioned. Long as I can help it, Port Side will be who takes care of my truck moving forward. Nice respectful staff and straight ahead guys. Definitely recommend.

Portside Diesel is the absolute best! My Kenworth truck kept shutting down on the road. I literally brought it to 2 different Kenworth MHCs to get repaired. Moments after I left, the same issue happened again. I brought my truck over to Portside and they not only identified the real problem; they fixed it where I was finally able to haul loads again without breaking down on the highway! Portside is my new home and I will continue to bring my trucks their moving forward. Jason and his team are very reasonable and a pleasure to work with.

Place is a ripoff. We dropped one of our vehicles off to be fixed due to loss of power. They said it was all fixed. So we went to pick up the truck and guess what? Nothing was fixed, it was still doing the EXACT same thing. They charged us $375 to “bleed the fuel system” which had nothing to do with the issue. I went back hoping the owner would make it right I got well you can bring it back and we can take a look at it. The fuel bleeder screw was bone dry so I know that was a lie and also the water separator sensor wires were broken off and the plug was just laying there. I would absolutely NOT recommend bringing anything here as they will say they did work when indeed they did nothing.

I have known the Team at Portside Diesel for a while and I can say they are fair and hard working individuals. The lead mechanic knows a Diesel engine like the back of his hand and the guys and gals there are down to earth and kind.
