Made 15 copies from 5 house keys at the Minute Key at our local Lowes. Took more than 15 minutes, but the process was very easy and as fast as a technician could do it. Different types of blanks are available and you get to watch the key being made. Great entertainment for older kids! The keys looked accurate, and from past experience, I know that if they don't work, Lowes will give a refund. Only two downsides: 1) Each key requires restarting the copy process from the beginning, including submitting a payment method (adding time to the process), and 2) no paper receipt is given.

Made A Key at Lowe’s on Minute key kiosk. Did not get a paper receipt. When I got home house key did NOT Work. Returned to Lowe’s went to service desk to inform them about purchase of key from kiosk. At 1st I was told they were not responsible for loss from kiosk. I had to show them email receipt & key before hey called management, finally got my key replaced. Not from kiosk. From Lowe’s. Bad Experience all around. I will never use kiosk again. I also would not recommend it. Not even to my enemy. Waste of time.

The keys that we had made do not work in all of the locks that are accessible using the master key used to make the keys in the Minute Key machine.
