  Made spare keys for new door locks. Expected to see employee with manual cutter, eventually found Minute Key machine. Followed directions; got a good deal on two keys. Duplicate keys work exactly like the originals- no issues. Perfect. Did notice a “special key” faux pas though: they had a UNC pattern, but no NCSU 😎. Got the generic brass, so no problem.

  People at Lowes store are very professional and caring. For some reason, the keys generated in Minute Key machine did not work. Probably the machine did not cut the keys properly. Probably this could be an exception.
