  used the machine at Lowes -- very easy, clear instructions, reasonably-priced, and, best of all, the keys all worked as well as the original. In my experience, the success rate for keys made at hardware stores was only marginally above 60%. Many had to be returned to be reworked, others had to be used numerous times before they worked reliably.

  Super easy to have keys made. I needed 6 for believe it or not a keyless lock. We have a condo and several family members have access to it. In an emergency if the battery dies they can use a key to open the door.
