  Saw the Minute Key kiosk at Walmart and decided to try. The instructions were easy to follow. I tested the key on my lock and it worked perfectly. I've had this key made and Home Depot, Loews and Ace Hardware in the past with not great results. Minute Key was the best and I didn't have to wait on someone to serve me. Definitely would recommend this method for getting keys made.

  I used this key copying machine in Walmart for two sets of keys. The first were made with blue plastic and a light that’s activated by squeezing the key. These keys did not last more than two years. The screws that keep the battery in fell out so the light won’t work. There’s just a big, gaping hole where it used to be. The key itself still works though. Recently I used the machine again. They no longer offer the plastic keys. The two that I bought are bronze I think. Both work great so far.
