This place is very good at SELLING equipment BUT if you need service, you have two (2) options: A) Haul it in yourself [regardless of weight or bulkiness or ability to transport it on your own] or B) Live no more than a few blocks from their store. If A or B are not true, you better be handy because no one will be helping you! As is typical, once you hand over your money, there is little interest in you going forward.

We do offer pick up and delivery? How far are you from us? Did you call and find out if you were in our pick up area? Was there a price issue for the pick up and delivery? Your review is pretty vague... If you are really far from us and bought the equipment due to supply chain issues I'm sorry about that. I'm sure my staff would have explained you might be out of our pick up area  when you purchased the unit. Instead of writing me a vague 1 star review would have been nice to make a phone call and  ask to speak to a manager or myself the owner (Rich) I'm not like most owners I'm very accessible if you call the store.  Just call and ask for me any time 908-232-2528

I recently lost a key for my Honda Pilot and called McIntyres to inquire about a replacement.  They were very helpful and ordered me an OEM key. They cut and programmed it for about 1/2 of what the dealership wanted. Great place for locks, keys, lawnmowers, etc! Thanks again!

5 Star experience. McIntyre’s cut and programmed my Hyundai key fob without a issue and charged a fair price. In and out in 30 minutes. Very knowledgeable and professional.

Fast 1 week turn around as promised, great work, friendly service.  Had minor repairs on an older lawn more + routine oil change and blade sharpening.  It now has a second life.

This business CHARGES 3-1/2% EXTRA on a DEPOSIT TO HOLD ITEM THAT THEY HAD MULTIPLE ITEMS IN STOCK FOR 2 DAYS AS I COULD NOT GET OUT OF WORK UNTIL AFTER THEY CLOSE, AND $7.95 UNDISCLOSED CHARGE TO PUT 1 QUART OF NON ETHANOL 4 STROKE GAS IN A VERY, VERY EXPENSIVE BRAND NEW ITEM.  VERY PETTY AND USEROUS AS A BUSINESS POLICY.  On the positive side, the staff seemed very knowledgeable and professional, and they had in stock multiple quantities of the exact item I wanted.  The dealer set up of the new item was done fine except one important item.

Hello, thank you for being a valued customer. Please note that the 3.5% charge that was imposed was only for credit card transactions. We have signs posted stating that "We impose a surcharge of 3.5% on the transaction amount on credit card products, which is NOT greater than our cost of acceptance. We do not surcharge debit cards." To keep our costs down we have this system in place. Also as far as the non-ethanol fuel charge, we charge for this fuel that is a safe clause for every machine that leaves our store. This protects both yourself as a consumer and us as a supplier. Reason being is that time after time customer added stale and/or dirty fuel to their machines that cause malfunctions such as dirty carbs. Manufacturers as well as McIntyres do not cover fuel related warranties. We no longer disclose this information as it has become company policy to add VP Fuel to every machine. Thank you for your business.

Purchased a snowblower from them yesterday in the middle of a snowstorm. They had snowblowers in stock when no one else did. The whole process took 20 mins and they delivered it to my house within a few hours in the middle of the storm. Exceeded my expectations! Good luck getting this kind of service from Home Depot or Lowes, they tell you blower is delayed 3 months due to covid. Glad to support small business!

Needed a replacement key for a 2002 Lexus.  No problem.  They had the blanks and 10 minutes later I was on my way.  Great people, great service.

These guys did a great job with my weed wacker. The price was fair, especially considering they cleaned the weed wacker meticulously before giving it back to me. Only downside, albeit a sizable one, is how long the work took (3+ weeks), but even that irritation is negated by the facts that they do great work and that there’s not exactly a large selection of small engine repair shops in the area to choose from. Staff was friendly throughout entire transaction and apologetic about the time it took. Will absolutely return and recommend.

Jay thank you so much for the 5 star review. We really appreciate it. Once again we apologize for the long wait. Our two-stroke mechanic had become overwhelmed with repairs. Out of nowhere we went from having a 1-3 day turnaround time to almost 3 weeks (does not include weekends) for two stroke equipment. Our two-stroke mechanic  "Tommy 2-stroke" is now cracking them out left and right!
He's working hard to play catch up and to get all of our loyal customers taken care of. Thank you for your patience and we hope to see you again soon!
