Called this business to service a customer that we have in the Brainerd Baxter area who was having trouble with their current door services provider showing up and fixing the Adam's door lock that was having problems, they returned my phone calls and showed up in a timely manner to service the customer we have that was having the door issues I would definitely recommend them to anybody who needs a locksmith, thanks again for the great service.

I was so impressed. I called  for a key problem in a door at our business.  Sam was here shortly thereafter and did an excellent job in a short amount of time.  Sam is polite, friendly and had the job done quickly.  I would highly recommend Lakes Area Lock & Door and they have a great employee in Sam.

I called on a Friday afternoon, they were on site within an hour, did a great job, and were under the estimated price. I couldn’t be happier. I will be recommending them to anyone who needs a locksmith.

Had a couple of difficult keys made today that other places did not carry blanks for. Was recommended to go here and we were so impressed. Quick, friendly, professional ser ice with good prices.  So glad to have heard about this place, will be back!!

The son working in the business has no concept of customer service.  He could not do the work in a professional manner, left with an inferior cylinder installed that was barely functional.
Had to have a another locksmith remove / replace with quality parts.
Would not recommend this company.

We were quoted a price for placing 3 new door knobs, 2 dead bolt locks and the cutting a one deadbolt hole with labor. All said and done,  it ended up being $100 more than we we were quoted. There was a $100 charge beyond labor for cutting the deadbolt hole that we were not informed about. When we called Lakes Area Lock & Door an itemized receipt was provided but they were not willing to remove the charge for cutting the deadbolt claiming that we were told about the fee.

Would recommend Lakes Area Locks and Door to anyone was really impressed even in bad weather The locksmith came on time. As a matter of fact, he was early. The company was very efficient, and the price was good compared to the work done.

Our quote was off by $100 We asked how much would it be to re key a certain number of doors, they told us, but the quoted price turned out to be per lock which we were not told. Our tech also for got to reinstall the door handle and deadbolt on one door.

Stopped in to have 3 keys made on "do not duplicate" blanks. In and out in less then 10 minutes. Price was spot on, and friendly service.
