  Avoid this service at all costs if you are locked out of your house or your car, and use a local locksmith instead. Only use this service as an absolute last resort if all local locksmiths are closed, or not responding. The dispatcher was not up front about the cost of service. He said $25 to get a person out, and then the locksmith would give me an estimate in person. The locksmith didn’t give me an estimate and charged me $250 after service was completed. I know it was a Sunday, but that’s an absolute robbery. He was right in front of me and he was a very nice guy who helped me open my door so I couldn’t really say no, but I felt abused as a customer. The dispatcher also called like 10 different times, and dispatched a new locksmith out when one was at my door. I suspect this is a national service that partners with local locksmiths, and the result is a really sketchy and low quality service. If you need a locksmith just cut out the middle man and call one yourself. I can’t speak for their kiosk services, but you need to avoid KeyMe’s locksmith services at all costs. Work with a local locksmith for an up front estimate.
