I called them around 1pm and they said they would be there at 3pm.  Talk about fast service! They were very professional and completed the work in under one hour.  All prices were quoted up front with no hidden fees.  Will definetly call them again if I ever have any problems related to locks.

I got my car key copied here. The service was quick and helpful. I thought it was nice that an employee walked me to my car to make sure the key worked. I'm not sure what their typical rates are, but I paid ~$70 for a copy of a standard early 2000s coded Honda key.

Excellent costumer service.  Very friendly.  Alot of variety.  Prices are very reasonable.  They acknowledge you as soon as you walk in.  Nice atmosphere.  Thanks Gus.  Definitely will be a faithful customer.

They made me a new copy for my kia sportage and programmed it in 20 minutes great service!!

We were recommended to come to Gus Lock and Key through Fernando from L.A. Tow. Upon arrival, we greeted Chris in the adjacent lot where my car was dropped off. Chris told us he had to go get his tools, and the service would take about an hour and a half. We waited inside the shop, but Chris passed by us without giving us any sort of assessment or info. He walked to the lot, worked on my car for literally 5 minutes, then drove the car across the road back to his shop. Once back inside the shop, he proceeded to ring me up for a total of $180 without an explanation as to what he even did on the car. He didn’t seek our approval to do the work/tell us what was going on with my car at all. I had to ask what he did, and he said all he did was reprogram the key fob to the car. We were misled to think that my car had major repairs to be done, and that the ignition Key slot would need to be completely repaired, when all it was a basic key reprogramming. You can definitely find a better location  with more professionalism, honesty and customer service.

I came there after work to get a key made. The lady told me to make an appointment and come back to get a key made. Very inconvenient. Of course I am not going to come back. The hours of service are as posted. Why would I waste my time? I'm very busy and the traffic is horrible.

Terrrrrrible customer service. They're also liars to try to make more money off of you. When you call early in the day 10 a.m. 12noon, they say let me check with my technician and we'll call you back, then by the time 5:00p.m. rolls around they didn't call as they said they would then they have the AUDACITY to say well now we will charge you more because now it's after hours, when they intentionally never called back with estimate just to charge more later. They also like to say they have no record of you calling on THEIR caller I.D. even though your phone shows you called their number. Don't waste your time with the fus that goes along with gus, ugh!!!
I strongly recommend LOUIS LOCK & KEY SERVICE MUCH BETTER LESS EXPENSIVE AND GREAT HELPFUL HUMBLE PROFESSIONAL ATTITUDES, JONAH"S YOUR GUY!

My car key is unfortunate very annoying and rare to find and this place was the only place that had it and was the best price overall very happy with the service thank you

Didn't take long two keys replacement keys made there will my Toyota RAV4 I had the keys got the keys from Amazon and he charged me $50 each can program and cut the key I got a good deal highly recommended
