For my Mercedes or should I say my son’s Mercedes’ now did a great job. It may have taken awhile but everything works as advertised. I do recommend him to others looking for quality service.

Professional and friendly. Needed ignition key for an older model Chevy Impala. Technician had to program 2 keys before it would work but he was determined to get us going and he did. Highly recommend this company.

Overall the price was not terrible, I paid a deposit of $145 compared to other places that quoted as low as $125 and up to $200 but Colgate’s told me they could do it the same day and before they closed at 5:30pm. I first called at 2:30, then again when the locksmith hadn’t called to say he was on the way yet at 4:40 (20 mins before they close after being told I’d have it before then) told he was finishing up another job and about to call me. Okay, cool. About 5:15 he finally pulls up outside my house and does not call but just sits there for about 20 minutes. I go outside and he then calls and gets out of the van to look at my car. It took 2 hours for a key to be made and programmed when the programming is usually the difficult part but that still takes about 15-30. The whole job should not take more than one hour. I even had the car battery on a charger to be sure it was charged up so he could program the key quickly without having to do it himself and wait for that. A lot of sitting in the van and smoke breaks for a regular key... no key fob or anything extra and it took that long and was not very professional as well as the woman answering the phone assuring me of it being done by 5pm. In total from first call to finish... 5 hours!!! Fingers crossed my deposit with card is not charged for after hours services for their slip up! Not very impressed at all, but eventually got the job done.

Satin, we're sorry you're unhappy with your experience. Our dispatch told you on the phone that we do not give exact estimated times but that our technician would arrive by 5. Our dispatch called you at 4:47 to let you know our technician was on his way to your location. He was a few minutes late which we do apologize for. We never give exact job completion times as every vehicle and lock are unique in nature. It sounds like our technician ran into some problems with your vehicle, which again, we do apologize for. We do not have or keep your card on file, nor would we charge you or anyone else extra money without their permission.
