I was there to get a copy for my Cherokee classic, and I got so  impressed how fast and efficient they are. I lost one of the two keys for my 2008 Lexus GS350, I couldn't believe the dealer wanted to charge upwards of $500 to replace it, including $100 just to CUT THE EMERGENCY KEY! What??
Jose @ Chicago Car Keys came in MUCH cheaper, the bulk of his price being the key itself which has to be purchased from Lexus. In fact he was the best priced of 5 Chicago Locksmiths I called.
I made an appointment and then later had to postpone it, since suddenly there was a chance the key had been found (it hadn't).  Despite my moving things around, Jose came through and got the job done when I needed it. He was friendly and professional. I drive 2005 Acura TSX and i just got it. I lost my only flip out transponder car key and called a few so called locksmiths in Lincoln Park to help me out and all if them gave me outrages pricing from $400.00-$550.00 for one Transponder Key. Thats when I found Chicago Car Keys. Jose came out around 7:00pm on A Saturday and was done with my Car Key in 45 minutes. He was very professional and I recommend him to anybody in Chicago. Seriously, best price around for an auto locksmith in Chicago.

I typically don’t write reviews but this situation really frustrated me. I called the company at 10am to ask about pricing for a set of car keys that I needed for my vehicle. I was told the price and then I asked if they could come to me, they stated that that would be an additional charge so I volunteered to come to their physical location. They told me the physical location wouldn’t open until noon but I could still get the keys made. So here I am standing in front of the physical location at 12:45pm and THEY ARE CLOSED! I called both the number listed on google (the number I originally called) and on the window of the location and no answer. This is infuriating. Their customer service is misleading so be prepared to waste your time and your gas. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICES.
