  I walked in to try to get electronic locks for a rental unit installed. I saw that the store is in total disarray but I thought hey maybe their busy. But it turns out they don't care. I waited a while for help and I noticed they had customer info EVERYWHERE! Addresses, numbers and names, everything, and even credit card receipt laying around. Please see the pictures I attached to this review. If you can't see them go to the photos for the business and you should be able to there. I left and am taking my business elsewhere. There isn't a store in the entire region that would treat their customers privacy like this. And this is suppose to be a SECURITY company!

  My sister is attending the local university here, so we flew in to visit and realized the locks where she is staying needed to be fixed. We called AKS, waited 30 minutes to even talk to a representative. We are not very familiar with American locksmiths but were assured by another locksmith that this is not how they should operate. Once we called AKS Security, it took over 10 minutes to speak to a representative. Then, the representative seemed to have no idea what we were talking about or how to help us. They promised to get what they called a "more experienced technician" to call us back. They never did. While waiting, we called another locksmith who promptly understood what we needed from them and gave us a quote of 100 US Dollars. We then called AKS back and was able to talk to a "more experienced technician," who gave us a quote of 250 US Dollars. When asked about the price difference between the two companies, the AKS employee fell silent. Needless to say that the customer is not the priority here and my sister could have been in a bad situation if it were not for the other locksmith.

  Dropped off a lock here. Agency been using them for 10 years. No one knew who we were and couldn't find our file. Took over 12 business hours to find the file. After another 2 days, lock still wasn't done even though I was promised same day service. Never received any calls or updates and when I called in no one knew what was going on. I went back to see if the lock was done and no one knew where it was. Called my boss and he said to just leave and we are switching to a new locksmith, which is as easy as giving them the master key to read so they can make a new system for ya. But 2 stars because they cost us time and money with the 2 only being because the company used to be good.
