  I had to get my trunk lock fixed and I checked with my mechanic first and he said I needed the cable and the whole cylinder plus labor so then something told me to go to able locksmith and thank god I did because the professionals here were very knowledgeable and crafted when it comes to this expertise. My locksmith name was Alex and let me tell you he is the best on Long Island and surrounding areas hands down. He made what can get very complicated and expensive seem very smooth and easy and not only that - he also said i never needed to change my cylinder and cable that attached the door lever to the cylinder, this was a true game changer for me because it saved lots of hassle, time and money. Not only did he save me that, he let me walk right in and he did it on the spot, at a very fast time. You cannot go wrong with Able. Very honest, great value, service and a price to match their service. He also gave me 2 extra spare keys on the house AND fixed my key fob, re-programmed it and it works brand new! I cannot say how happy I am with Alex and Able locksmith, i’m beyond happy that I have an a+ knowledgeable locksmith right near me, it was almost like he was working magic that’s how good it went lt. I recommend to everybody that’s in the market - make Able Locksmith your 1st choice and you will be happy. Thank you Alex and Able, once again and I appreciate your service and unparalleled craftsmanship!

  I brought my 2003, Honda to Able Locksmith about an hour before closing because the key was difficult to get into the cylinder. There was times I couldn’t get it in at all! They were very responsive and got it done before closing. Fast, efficient, and professional service. Thank you.

  I called to get a price on a replacement key fob, he gave me a good price, but when I went there the price shot up. Total waste of my time!!

  We are sorry you feel you wasted your time(and that it warrants a 1 star ratting) but sometimes over the phone we can not always know exactly what the customer is trying to explain. We have strived to satisfy each and every customer for the past 50 plus years we have been in business. Once in our shop I explained the 2 options and gave a price. He chose neither and left. Sometimes you can not please them all.
