  Called them to come out and Re-key my business locks. They sent out the tech which arrived on time. Steven was very professional and explained every step of the way. I would highly recommend 85 Locksmith to anyone seeking locksmith services!

  The work was good and quick, but the price was not clear at all, and extremely expensive. I was given a base price of $20+ a lock to rekey my house, and ended up being charged 4x what I expected, for an over $1000 bill. I was prepared for well over the base price, but this was still over double what I was expecting at most. It was extremely poor price transparency, and the total cost should have been communicated when the technician saw the scope of the job, especially if the phone rep is mentioning such a low base price.

  Hi Rachel, we're very sorry to hear about your unpleasant service. Some of our service prices can only be established once the technician physically arrives and sees what work needs to be done. Our policy requires our technicians to provide estimates prior to doing the job which will be provided only after customer's approval. Again, there are some jobs where only physically on site can we establish the exact price.

  Nathan is very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. He followed through and completed the job within a reasonable time frame. Furthermore, he immediately responded to my request and provided a reminder call prior to the appointment. Lastly, he was on time and reliable. Overall, I would highly recommend him.
