After waiting for hours for another company to come, I called these guys, and they were there within 45 minutes! Unbelievably professional service, handles with care and expertise. Bait and switch con! Here’s how they play it. We called, explained the exact situation (car key lost, emergency AAA key stuck in the ignition) and exact make, model, and year of the car. The operator quoted a price of $120 for the key plus $29 for the service call, and the technician could be there in 20-25 minutes. My son (21, in a parking lot) and I (at home, no spare key) were both on the call and heard the same. I repeated what I heard, “$149 for an emergency, we’ll do it.” It was unfortunate that my son lost his keys but that seemed like a fair price, and very fast service. The operator said she’d send out a technician. About 25 minutes later my son called me to say the technician said it now costs $300. I spoke to the technician, who said $120 was the starting price but it goes up based on codes needed to cut the key. I said I already told the operator the make/model/year of the car and $120 was the price quoted for the key. He argued $120 was only the starting price and I could take it up with the operator. I called the operator, the same person answered. I explained that the technician was charging double. She said $120 was the starting price and she said so when we talked. I said I never heard that, and asked why she wouldn’t correct me or give additional information when I confirmed $149. She said she has given the same information 100s of times and has never had this problem. I said even if that’s true why wouldn’t you tell people about the range of possible prices, and asked how was anyone able to compare costs before agreeing to a service when she withholds information. She repeated that she said “starting price” during the initial call and it was up to me to ask for additional information. I said this is a bait and switch. My choice was to either leave my son stuck or pay twice what they quoted when I agreed to the service. So I agreed to continue at $300. Then it got weirder. After 10 min, I called back to give them the chance to make it right. I said, “You believe I misunderstood the pricing, I believe you did a bait and switch, is there anything we can do at this point to make the situation right.” The same operator said she’d call the technician to try to get the best price, and we disconnect. My son then called me in a panic that the technician said his office called him and told him I said to stop working. I called back and asked the same technician, “Why did you tell the technician I asked for the work to stop?” She acted surprised, “What? No. I only asked for the best price. $300 is the best price. Did you want to continue the work” “Yes, I replied.” “Ok, I’ll call the technician and clarify.”  Son got the key, paid 2x the quote, and they have their bait-and-switch con down cold for when you’re in an emergency. Shame.

If you need a key made go here! They are the best! They can make a key for almost anything! Home or car ( even chip keys) are affordable, With excellent customer service. It doesn't get better than this.  :)

Mike saved our night!!! We were locked out of our house, tried FOREVER to get it open and were unable to do so. He showed up in 25 mins and got us in quickly! 10pm with a tot in the car.

Adam changed my house locks months ago, and still, everything is perfect. He gave me spare keys, so I had the other one if I forgot or dropped one set. Thanks for the great services.
