  I had a very good experience with Union Square Locksmith Inc. I have what seems to be a unique mortise-style door lock. I wanted a smart lock and I ended up purchasing one that wouldn't fit (this was explained to me on my first communication with them via chat). David patiently walked me through their recommendations given my situation, and showed me which locks they recommend. I ended up purchasing one they recommended. They quoted me the price for the installation, and also recommended I change out my existing cylinder as well with a more secure "Mul-T-Lock". We ended up having to reschedule our first visit due to building rules that I wasn't aware of, but on the next possible day David came out and completed the install for us, and he did a great job. We have a metal fire door and he had no issues drilling the necessary holes to install our new smart deadbolt, which now just sits above the existing door handle we already had (which now works as a passive door handle, which we can lock when we want for extra security). Anyway, great experience, friendly and patient guys, and efficient workers. Would definitely recommend them!

  I used Union Square Locksmith Inc. yesterday because I had such a great experience with David three years ago, and I had another great experience with Sean yesterday. I called in the afternoon with no emergency, just wanted to get high security locks for my new place. Sean came by that evening when it was convenient for me, changed locks on two tricky old doors, and did great work at a very reasonable price. Totally professional in every way, and a really nice guy!

  I called them to unlock my house on a Saturday morning after I called two other locksmiths that gave me a 1.5 hr timeframe. This team provided speedy (half hour) and successful service and were courteous and polite. They also suggested ways to avoid future mishaps and their advise is well taken. They are reasonably priced given the especially tough lock they worked on.
