  Awesome Service!!! I called after closing hours, got an answer the first try an appointment for the next morning. I had 2keys made an coded “chip keys” as I lost one an only!!! Technician Arrived an within 15mins my car was running an I was able to use both keys for all doors and to start the vehicle!!! prices are very fair In my own honest opinion for what I needed the second key was actually a bonus an he also gave a little helping hand for any future advents…well worth the money spent great technician easy going respectful…

  Had to get a replacement FOB for truck as my wife's purse, keys + CC stolen. On the internet we saw various prices and options to replace and program a new one for $500+. Located The Locksmith a half hour drive from home in the Northern Neck. (We are in Middle Peninsula.) Over the phone, they got ID info from my FOB, ordered another, and a few days later we went to their shop. They they programmed the new one for our vehicle, cut the physical key (used only to open door, has push button start, no key) tested key and FOB and all was done for $300. To program the device was a very computer intensive process. We saw that we could have bought a blank key and FOB, for a lower price, but we would then have had to arrange for programming, assuming that we bought a perfect match, not likely. Mike was quick, efficient, and took the time to show me everything he was doing. I highly recommend Mike and his boss, Brian in White Stone VA.

  They are fast. However, there was a miscommunication on the key that I needed for my car. We had to email communicate since I am a Teacher/Coach/Driver and I am always with students and no cellphones allowed throughout the day. I emailed a list of what I needed and assumed they read the list, they did not. When I showed up to my car after work I had a transponder key and not a key with the Lock and Unlock controls as I wanted and expressed in an email. This transponder key that they gave me would have been $30 at an ACE hardware store. They charged me $450!!! For just a key no programming need and no remote I have never felt so scammed in my life. This miscommunication has costed me a 3rd of my paycheck for this month...They were not willing to take off for the mistake or willing to admit that they did not read each email I sent. Be sure to be there when they arrive, I was not able to be there due to my work hours. Finally be sure to repeat your needs multiple times to be sure the communication is clear.

  Mrs. Skellchoch, So your review is unfair and one sided.. Allow me to explain.. We responded very quickly as you stated.. However the cost of service is not so apparent. You are 75 minutes driving time.. With skilled technician, fuel and a stocked truck... that's 135.00.. A raw key blank with transponder w/ no remote buttons..100.00(A Quality blank key..not an ace knock off) We cut the key on one of our 3 8000.00 laser cutting machines... after we pay for your key code~ 125.00 for Chrysler products.. Time @ the vehicle to program the transponder in new key to with one of 8 programmers on our truck 150.00.....please do the math... Any skilled business that can come out to remote towns and perform tasks to bring about solutions to problems and stay in business today and tomorrow is not free. Frankly, I would appreciate you taking down the negative review. Your complaint of being too expensive is addressed above. However, our cost/pricing was noted several times via emails prior to my tech being dispatched. We were invited to assist you & we did our job.
