  Their sign says Oil Changes $29.95, but mine was $73. I was told because my synthetic oil is more expensive. Funny, I left there and had to go to AutoZone. Surprise, Surprise Valvoline 5-20 synthetic oil & a filter for $29.95. Needless to say I'm not a happy camper over this.

  Thank you for your feedback on your recent vehicle service. We strive to provide quality service at a reasonable price and apologize for not meeting your expectations. In the past we have offered a $29.95 conventional oil change but due to increased costs in materials and labor we have to institute moderate price increases for our services. The previous sign with specific pricing on 4th street was replaced on August 24, 2021, about three weeks before your service. The upcharge for your truck oil change was related to using synthetic oil and needing 8 quarts instead of the usual 4 to 5 quarts due to your engine requirements. Our pricing reflects environmentally friendly waste oil disposal, sales tax, labor, and guaranteed parts and labor. Our oil change service also includes a vehicle inspection, tire pressure check and other fluids being topped off if needed. We normally provide an estimate of pricing before the service was performed, especially for most full size truck due to increased oil quantities and filter costs. Purchasing your own supplies and doing the work yourself can result in monetary savings, while we offer the convenience of having the service done in a timely, environmentally friendly and professional manner. Once again thank you for your patronage and hopefully, we can be of service to you in the future.

  First off I've always been nervous when going through a process of buying a car. However, after searching long and hard at other places I stumbled upon Knipmeyer in Beardstown. I called to make sure she had a vehicle and Nikki didn't pressure me to give her a name or number or any information. Most places ask up front about you so they can keep calling you back when you tell them you aren't interested in a car anymore. Not the case with Knipmeyer. This family owned business made me feel comfortable and the people were down to earth so I felt more at ease to talk to them about all the fears and questions I had. They had a lot of good models with great prices. I myself found a 2015 model with 80xxx miles on it for 8xxx. My payments are only 150?!?! You can't beat that at a regular dealership. I did a trade in and only had to out a little bit down (300) for down payment. The bank is easy to work with as well. This whole process has been amazing and is what all dealerships should strive to be. Only downfall is the short warranty that we got with vehicle but we felt safe because there mechanics do an amazing job to make sure vehicle is top notch.   The easiest car buying experience I've ever had! Nikki was extremely friendly and the entire transaction took less than an hour from test drive to walking out the door with the car! They weren't able to come down on price, but their asking price was extremely competitive to begin with. The vehicle that I bought was in excellent condition and was well taken care when I bought it. Overall, I would highly recommend Knipmeyer if you're looking for a friendly local dealership that puts the customer first, unlike many larger dealers.
