  I've been going to True Value Taylor & Son for at least 30 years now. I believe this is one of the best hardware stores that you can have in New Milford and definitely a lot better than going to any big box stores. People are extremely friendly and go out of their way to help you out with anything and everything. This is your hometown hardware store that you would reminiscent of in the movies. I remember one time I even had Lumber delivered to my house before even paying for it based on trust! They have very high quality Lumber much better than what you'll find at Home Depot and any other large big box stores in the area. I go there for all of my projects.

  Robust selection, super helpful & knowledgeable staff, and you’re supporting a long-standing local business. Pricing is right in line with the big box stores but with a small town hardware store feel. If you need something, stop here first.
