Surprisingly large selection and fair prices for a small town hardware. I would shop here over Gilroys any day.

I had my Central Air installed by Schmitzer's and all of the workers were very friendly, cleaned up after any mess and were very knowledgeable. I would recommend this hardware to anyone. 5 STARS!

Waited 15 minutes for the cashier to come up to the register so I could check out. They were in the back area and looked right at me waiting and never came up. Terrible customer service. Go to Self-Serve Lumbar or True Value in Frankenmuth.

We use Schmitzer's on a weekly basis. They always seem to have what we need for repairs.

I had a furnace problem right in the thick of furnace repair season and Schmitzer Hardware was available for service immediately. Matt, the service tech who fixed my furnace was very knowledgeable,  efficient, preserving, and agreeable. While I don't want my furnace to break down again, I'd be happy to give Schmitzer my business again.

Nice place to shop, and get heater and air conditioner work done in your home.

Very friendly and helpful.  I was greeted as soon as I came in and the 2 employees I saw both had smiles on their faces.

Needed my water heater replaced.   They came out the same day I called.   Home Depot quoted me $1200 more than what Schmitzer did.   They replaced the damaged floor underneath,  showed me how to use my new water heater,  and cleaned up after themselves.  All around amazing.
