  Rick rescued us from being stuck on the side of the freeway for hours after we were abandoned by AAA's preferred company. Unfortunately, we ran out of gas less than 3 hours shy of our accommodations for the evening. After calling AAA around midnight and not even getting a hold of someone to confirm that service was on the way we were disappointed after an hour and a half with no arrival. AAA said they would have their dispatch call for an alternate service and said they would call back when they confirmed another company. We never got a call back and didn't receive a call from Shepard wrecking service until 10 hours after our initial call for help. By then we had already made arrangements with Rick. While he may have been reluctant to come help us at 2-3:00 am, he did so after other companies refused to help and came in the time he estimated he would arrive. We are very thankful for his assistance!
