  I have nothing but good things to say about this company. The scheduling process was very easy and efficient and they make sure you are prepared for the day of service. The two technicians that came to my house were extremely friendly, professional, and courteous. They explained everything they were doing, allowed me to ask questions, answered thoroughly, and made sure I was satisfied with the work before leaving. You can tell that they care about the work that they do, and that they value their customers. North Hills Lock & Safe will be my exclusive locksmith from now on!

  I have had a life-long gift for turning what seems like a relatively simple problem into an enormous puzzle. My front door always has had two locks but one key. When a couple of family members misplaced their respective keys recently, I attempted to make copies from my own key at different stores nearby. After three separate failures, with keys that looked like the original but that would not open the door, I looked for a knowledgeable locksmith who was willing to come to the house to figure out what characteristic of my lock(s) was causing the problem. Even that venture turned into something of an ordeal; most locksmiths don't want to drive to a private home to deal with copying a tricky key. However, from the moment that a kind young woman answered the phone at North Hills Lock and Safe, I felt relief. She was very reassuring. Yes, someone could come to my house. Yes, new keys could be made without having to replace both locks. Yes, someone could come this week (turned out to be the same day as the call). Yes, the cost was very reasonable. The young man who arrived to do the work was articulate, careful, and caring. He analyzed and shared with me the fatal flaws in my key copies from other shops and then proceeded to make perfect copies that worked instantly. If any other locks at my home pose a problem, I won't hesitate to call North Hills Lock & Safe. I also will recommend this company to any neighbors and friends who need the services of skilled -- and cheerful -- locksmiths.
