  I went to Lowes to get some new keys copied, and I spoke to a less-than-helpful Lowes employee who told me their key copying machine wasn't working and told me to go somewhere else. As I was leaving Lowes I walked right by the Minute Key machine. I was super impressed with this machine, easy to use, easy directions, easy payment with nice options of sending the receipt via email. That machine was a life-saver as I was in a hurry, and not impressed with the service I received from Lowes and the lack of their associate not even knowing that this machine was an option in their store.

  I had been eyeing the Minute Key Kiosk at Lowe's. I'm techy, but sometimes hesitate to try new tech. It was just a matter of time before I locked myself out of our new place. Yep. It happened. I vowed to get a spare key the next day. Took myself to Lowe's, followed the prompts easily, got a cute design on my key (fun designs are $5, plain key is $4, at my Florida store). Emailed myself the receipt. Sooooo easy. The few times I goofed up, all I had to do was use the back button to fix. Easy peasy. Like this review if you find it helpful.

  I used the system to duplicate some keys several months ago. It remembers the patterns, so going back and getting more keys is easy, just use their app, type in a verification code when you are at the kiosk, and the keys were quickly made.
