  I have new locks and when I had duplicates made at a hardware store they did not work very well- they were tight in the lock and difficult to turn, some of the keys would not work at all. I think that the tolerances in the new lock are very tight- there is no "slop" in these locks. I saw the Minute Key machine at Lowes and decided to try it. The keys worked perfectly, just the same as the original key that came with the lock.

  I was hesitant at first to use a kiosk, but it was very user friendly. I did not like the repeated offers to buy more keys and contribute to various charities. I already donate. However, the key I received works every bit as good, if not BETTER, than the original. I also liked the quality of the brass key. Ease of use, and quality product would make me use this again, despite the irritating sales pitches.

  Have never been able to duplicate a particular key and happened to walk by so tried and they did, quickly and well.
