  I purchased Schlage keypad entry and door knob locks to replace lock sets at 3 entrances to my house (so 6 locks installed, 3 deadbolt, 3 door knob). David was the technician to do the installation on 5/17/21. He was able to install the locks, but after installation, 2 of the 3 keypad locks had loose/wobbly thumb latches (which I didn't notice at first). Additionally, David told me he could not install 2 of the deadbolt strike plates in the door jam and have the keypad entry locks work properly. He said they weren't really needed anyway. He asked me if I was okay with that and left me the strike plates to those doors. I wasn't immediately able to inspect so I said ok (because he said they weren't really needed). He also said that I could call him at any time for issues, since he lived close by (no subsequent service fees were mentioned though). Upon inspecting the locks I noted two loose/wobbly thumb latches (which with usage will only get more loose) and I saw that the narrow margin of door that was left on the jam could be busted through if someone wanted to put weight into it. So I could tell the strike plate would have reinforced it. Additionally, there was a big hole showing in the door jam that the plate should cover. What needed to be done was to make the strike plate recessed into the wood door jam so the lock would clear it. I called him back to make this modification so the strike plate would work and to tighten wobbly thumb latches and was told that if he returned it would be a $29 service fee (to finish the job that wasn't done properly??? Come on!!!) I told him I wasn't paying a service charge and that he should return to make it right whenever convenient so there wouldn' be a service charge. I have not heard back from him in 10 days. So, I was charged $655 for installation of 6 locks but only 4/6 were properly installed. I choose this company for the good reviews here. However, I feel they keep their technicians pretty tightly scheduled so that they sometimes have to delay the scheduled arrival (which happened in my case, but I was ok with it) and they don't have enough time to properly take care of unexpected issues like my strike plates. I will not use this company again because of the inferior workmanship of installing these locks and the reluctance or inability to do the job properly the first time.

  Conner and Thomas at master locksmith are the best highly recommend! They are very professional and kind. Worked around my schedule were able to see you right away and took the time to work with me and answer all my questions. Hard to find good people in the world and this company found two good people with excellent customer service skills and worth ethics. Could not say anything bad!
