  The service man did not come prepared for job I requested from the business owner. He took a $100 deposit and went to Home Depot to buy a new lock. The profile of the lock face was too large and did not fit inside the storm door. After a second trip to Home Depot and a $150 dollar lock, it was installed incorrectly. After more than 4 hours and $900, I let the service man leave and fixed the lock myself in under 10 minutes. Disgraceful and a huge ripoff!

  I had a great experience with Locksmith Larchmont and I would recommend them to anyone. When my key got stuck in my top lock, I contacted them and the locksmith got back to me right away and was able to meet the next morning to help me. He came on time, fixed the issue quickly and was very pleasant. Their prices seem very fair and I appreciated the seamless way he accepted payment. I recommend them to all my friends.

  TOTAL SCAM! Do not be fooled by the name of this business. Locksmith Larchmont is not a local business. We had a lock changed and they charged a premium service fee for the Westchester area. The company quotes a low price and makes no mention that the technicians are independent contractors that charge a fee for coming to Westchester. When we called the office to complain we were hung up on! I am still waiting for the supervisor to call me back - I am not holding my breath!
