  We called Locksmith Connect after finding them online. We didn't realize that they are only a 'dispatch service' and incorrectly assumed we were contacting a reputable, licensed company with their own providers. Instead they are the Uber of Locksmiths. The guy who arrived didn't have the correct tools or parts to fix our door. Would have had better luck with the Handy app. After watching him struggle for hours, he assured us he would come back the next day in the morning to install the correct handle. The next morning he installed a handle that was much too small for the door and likely made for an indoor door. Poor quality, poor fit. I don't like to complain, so I didn't say anything and hoped after all the trouble it would just be good enough. Sadly, it only lasted 4 months before failing completely. When I followed up with Locksmith Connect, they refused to repair the work or install the proper handle without additional charge. Their "warranty" apparently only lasts 30 days. When I then asked to speak directly to the professional who did the work, requesting their name and license number, I was informed that they did not have any record of the name or license number on file. This means that either: they are dispatching unscreened, unlicensed 'locksmiths' to jobs, they have terrible record keeping, or both. These are not employees if they are only dispatching, so does that mean they are also not screening these 'locksmiths'? Is a background check even done? This is dangerous. You want the locksmith breaking you into your home to be licensed, bonded, and insured. If you can’t verify the locksmith’s license from the start, it’s time to find a different company. Lesson learned.

  Eddie, the locksmith is the worst. He tried to overcharge my brother for five minutes of work. He threatened my family and even refused to leave the premise. Worst experience ever. I don’t much about the company, but they do have one rude and gangster wanna be employee. Please don’t call this company! If you do, it might end up costing you an arm and leg.

  What a pleasant to do business with. These guys are truly professional from the beginning to the end. It started with a quote and exchange of messages, after receiving 3 quotes from different locksmith I already knew this company is a stand up company. They were not the inexpensive one but definitely something about the communication that connects through the customer. The service is really prompt. I was just gonna get a quote and schedule the service but they came out the same day and was done in less than 30min to re-key my 2 doors. Thanks Mike and to the other guy who made it happen. That was painless. I will refer you to my other friends when every they need a locksmith. Thanks again!!!
