After getting nowhere with several other locksmiths, I decided to stop by Lock-Doc in Tulsa. I had a classic car that I didnt have keys for and needed to have door keys made. The person working came out and looked at the door and was able to get the cylinder free for me and got a key made very quickly. He helped me get the lock back into the door and when it wouldnt work on my other doors he quickly figured out that newer GM key blanks were missing a notch that classics were and he made a manual modification to the key with a file so it would work on all my doors. He also gave me some advice about my locks. I would highly recommend Lock-Doc as they came through when no one else would.

I needed a spare key for a vehicle and another item, which I stopped in for. The guy running the shop was there and immediately helped me and did a good job with making the key. That is why I gave him a 1 star rating and not a zero. However, on a separate note in regards to being a good Samaritan, I would give the shop owner a zero! We stepped outside to drive away and our truck would not start and needed a jump. Now the shop owner and his friend were just standing there in the shop with no other customers to help? I asked if he could give me a jump being that his or his friends truck was sitting right next to ours. They both looked at me like I was some kind of a beggar looking for a hand out in the street and in an annoyed tone told me that they neither had the time or the interest to help me. Now the reason I am writing this review is because I also am a business owner and if anyone that was seriously in need, esp a customer of mines, and asked me for such help, I would not hesitate for a moment to help them. The way that he treated me as a customer who just walked in and gave them retail business is a reflection of how low he values his customers and how much he is willing to go out of his way to help others that are in need. His so called mission statement of "Our business is securing your business" should be changed to "We don't give a darn about your business!"

I'd like to inform you that someone from your organization is in the practice of cutting keys for stolen vehicles. A few months ago our vehicle was stolen and recovered. Early this morning the police woke us to let us know the vehicle was open with a key left inside. A key from your establishment. When we called to ask how this could happen and if there were any records of who had the key made we wede told that you keep no records and that you do not verify who owns a vehicle. We were also told that you do not sell blank keys and a locksmith must be used with the vehicle present. I find this to be an egregious oversight on your companies part. Theifs across town may be using your services to commit crimes and you have helped them. Shame on you!
