  I’ve been using them for some time. Because of the way they scan and bit the key (rather than tracing the key like many copying machines) you get a much better copy. I also like how you can save an emergency copy of the key with them. I feel a little sad not giving the business to a traditional locksmith, but in reality most of my business went to an 18 year old kid at the corner hardware store.

  I would have liked more choices and I thought they were a little too expensive. I don’t remember paying $7.99 at Menards.
