So I tried the keyme kiosk and I loved the ease-of-use and convenience of having it right there in the grocery store. Unfortunately the prices were outrageous, especially when the big box stores charge a third of the price for the same key. The cut and selection of the keys was great. I also like how the coupon offers were integrated into the checkout. Nice touch. I also like how you can save a copy of your keys for future duplications right there in your account. That would definitely save a lot of time and effort. I see this being a very useful tool if perhaps you have a spare key and you're in another state and you are looking to "send" a copy of the key to someone else in another state where they have a kiosk. This would also be really helpful if you needed to make multiple keys but you only needed one for now. Of course I'm sure there are some risks to that as there are with everything else but it is definitely convenient. overall I probably would use the service again if I didn't feel like going to a big box store and I happened to be in the grocery store. I recommend it for the convenience and quality. In the past I've had keys made at the big box stores and they don't always work. This one worked the first time! UPDATE 2/24/21: So, I had my boyfriend use the kiosk and while admittedly he's not the most tech savvy person, he said he was confused by it. He put the key in to make a copy and it said that the key would be mailed to us in 3-5 business days?? Needless to say, he left and went to Home Depot, who surprisingly were really helpful and friendly 🤷🏽 must be COVID. They're usually horrible, esp the one on Dallas Hwy in Marietta.
