  Locked myself out of my home on Christmas day. I called KeyMe because it did not claim to be closed. The phone system connected me with their "partners" who then attempted to scam me throughout the following: I mistakenly gave them my contact info as part of the request for service. I was not given a timeline, but the call ended anyway. I called back and they said no one was available until 8AM or later the following day and that I could make an appointment -- which I apparently did not do already? That did me no good, so I told them to cancel my request. I was then told that "since a technician is already on their way, I was responsible for reimbursing their fuel and travel charges and would I like to pay now with a credit card?" I tried multiple times to clarify the situation and only grew angrier and angrier the more I listened to KeyMe's "partners" contradict themselves. The man finally hung up on me when I said, flatly, "NO" to paying for anything when nothing was done. I am now receiving constant spam texts with phishing links to my cell. Let this be a warning to anyone thinking about calling KeyMe for service.
