  I locked my key inside my apartment so I needed to get access but it wasn't an emergency. So, I called KeyMe for a quote and the lady who answered said it would be $29 to come out. I said, "that's it?". She said yes, unless I wanted more services. So the guy comes out within 45 min, picks my lock within 2 min., then hands me a bill for $244! I told him that I was told it would be $29 so why is it so much more? He said that the breakdown of the bill was $29 just to come out, $55 for an emergency call and $160 for a lockout. WHAT??? I was never told that when I called initially and asked them how much it would be! So, they were very misleading and I assume this is how they make their money, by not telling customers how much it would cost until AFTER the job is done. Very poor customer service relations. Yes, they were fast at responding but the lady should have asked if #1 - Is this an emergency? If so, the cost would add $55. #2 - We charge $160 in addition for being locked out. NONE of these extra costs were explained to me. I received a call from a girl after the job was done asking how things went. I told her that I was mislead and that she should have told me how much the total bill was BEFORE I agreed to have someone come out. Then she hung up on me! So I called back and she picked up the phone & then hung up on me again. I'll never use them again!

  Fairly quick and painless but a little expensive compared to getting a key made at the local hardware store. Definitely conveniently located inside the Safeway Store
