Very Convenient.  I was concerned that after already making full payment, I’d receive the key and it wouldn’t work. I was also concerned that it would take “forever” to get to me. Both were needless concerns. I had the key in the mail in only a few days, and it fit perfectly!  I would gladly do it again!

They are not local to the Saint Croix Falls area!!!  Just some outfit that is partnered with menards!!!  Do yourself a favor and call a REAL local locksmith that has spent years of training and learning to keep up with the old/new vehicles and the technology that comes along with it!!!!  A REAL local locksmith may cost a little more but at least you'll receive an actual service from someone who has the knowledge and experience needed to perform this type of career and quality!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I ordered two keys from the KeyMe machine in a local retail store. I had been quoted by a locksmith $180 each key for a replacement. No fob just the key.

I got two from the machine for $80 and they both work nicely!

The experience was easy! I just held my key in the slot for a minute while the machine took photos and in about a week I received my new keys!

I was very pleased with the whole experience!

Works great if you have a few keys to make.  If you have more than a few it can be lots of waiting around.  If possible, would like the option to reorder my saved keys (in volume) via a website later and just cut the few that I need at the kiosk at present.  As it stands now, I have another trip to the kiosk in the future to cut additional keys.

Did not have my style key blank at the kiosk but scanned my key and shipped my keys to me. Had perfect new keys in 3 days.

I will tell you everything worked out. You're given options at the kiosk to upgrade to an ultra smooth copy. I did that. I also upgraded to three keys. With the first batch, I became concerned when the copies didn't match the master. It turns out those copies did work in the lock! But I wasn't sure they would, so I made one more copy with no upgrade and it matched the master tooth by tooth. I was now confident I had at least one match, but all the copies do work. I will say the process goes more slowly than I thought it would, but the kiosk does a laser scan of the key and you have the option to save it, and it can be saved under your email so that you can make another key without even having it on your person.
