  Had a technician come out to my car because I needed my ignition cylinder replaced. He talked me into just having a new key made and charged tried to charge me more than the cost of getting the ignition replaced at Lock World up on Geary. New key still had the same problem and now I’m taking it in to get replaced anyways. Terrible service that refused to tell me the price until the “work” was done.

  The machine was a little buggy but ended up taking my key and offering to ship the copies to me. The next day I got an email saying that my key could actually not be duplicated, with a refund, and a $5 gift card on Amazon as an apology. So I can't say that I've actually used the service, but I thought the gesture deserved a positive review.

  A lifesaver when I was locked out. Setup process is a bit clunky, with the first key mailed to you instead of duplicated on the spot, however when you're locked out the keys can be printed on demand. The fingerprint reader is noticeably less accurate than the one on my iphone, requiring multiple entries.
