  Worked perfectly. It was a little expensive for a plain old brass key - I was expecting a programmed chip key...

  I wasn’t planning on doing it this way but it’s what Menards offers inside their store. The process is straight forward and simple. My only caveat is that it’s a little pricey and they do not debur the key. They charge for this feature which I find it to be taking advantage of what any hardware store does as a courtesy.
