  Horrible service! Left our teenage daughter stranded without a key despite her having called and completed an online request specifically requesting a technician be dispatched who could make a key on site (she has lost her key while hiking). Not only did the tech arrive unable to complete the request, but after she explained that she called because she needed a key, he said he could open her car door “to just check inside” - then charged her $160 for opening the door. He left her alone in an unfamiliar neighborhood without performing the specific service she called and requested. If there was something less than one star, Key Me Austin deserves it.

  If I could give 0 stars, I would. I waited an hour, and it was confirmed technician would arrive within 15-25 minutes. I then waited 1.5 hours and called to ask the ETA. I then was told no techs were there. Call another locksmith. I explained my situation then was hung upon. I called back to figure out what was going on. No one can find my work order until 20 minutes after being transferred. For them to repeat, no techs are there, sorry, after waiting for the 1.5. Tbh being hung up on when having questions is the annoyance more then the time I've waited in the heat. Customer service don't waste time on a reply. Hanging up shows the obvious care this company has.

  Fast and easy - Home Depot can do some kinds of keys but not all, they duplicate according to only key blank types they have on hand. None of mine were house or car keys, all were padlock or storage shed types. Bed Bath Beyond was convenient, KeyMe kiosk gave me duplicates of one key, then would order and mail me duplicates for my others - fine with me. They later emailed to let me know they couldn't duplicate one key after all - a key with teeth on both sides. Not surprising, i appreciated their quick notification. I got online and did the "chat" option to find out which key it was, that's how I was able to verify it was the double toothed key. Friendly and easy.
