I serendipitously passed by one of the key kiosks at the entry to a drug store and remembered I needed to make a few keys.  The process was simple and mostly straightforward.  I waited while the keys were cut, paid with my credit card and went on with my shopping.  It was very convenient.  I went home and tried the new keys out and they worked fine.  I'm a happy customer.

So easy and cost-effective to do this is in a Safeway. And such a fun experience to generate keys of different colors right away. Thank you for making it easy and fun to check off making keys from my todo list

I had copies of an original key (less than a year old) made and the copies don’t exactly work. Two are difficult to use, one is nearly impossible. The copies don’t even look like the original. They are thinner and have shorter peaks and shallower valleys than the original. The machine is very easy to use, but it attempts to determine the original shape based on an assumption that the sample is worn and that gave me keys that don’t work.

Great for needing a key right away but cost 3 times has much as a hardware store.

Had 2 sets of keys made.  One set worked fine.  It was my fault that I didn't see that it would take a week to get it delivered... but it got delivered and worked so it wasn't the best, but there is no problem there.

The second set of keys that were made were not even close.  I reached out to customer service and they took care of a refund right away, which was good.  Asked for some discount code for a new set since I still need keys, but nope, just ignored the request.  Considering all of the time that was wasted to go get keys, waiting a week for the keys, having keys that did not work, it would have been nice to get something for the inconvenience.

It was needed quickly and this served the purpose....but I have never paid $10 for a key before.   Home Depot would have been $3, but I needed it right away, so the convenience was great.

This is a great idea and seems like a very good option to duplicate keys almost 24/7, but in my case the keys didn't work, so the experience is not that good. To be fair, I did get the refund, so there's that.
