  The new key opens the car door perfectly, but doesn't start the car, although it fits in the ignition and turns on all the lights, etc. The car won't turn over, however. Am I expecting too much? Is it only meant to unlock the car if I lock myself out?

  They don’t Programme keys needed a Mercedes key cut . they only do lockouts don’t waste your time calling this number.

  First, I love the concept and the quality of the kiosks. These kiosks are easy to use, and while you have to wait a few days for the new key to be shipped to your home (you don't receive it from the kiosk) the kiosk scans your key quite quickly. I needed a new key for my Ford 2009 Sedan. I ultimately purchased a copy at this kiosk and the KeyMe in Colleyville; both keys neither opened my car door nor started the ignition. When I tried this location (Irving) and it didn't work, I figured the kiosk was having issues, but when the key from the Colleyville KeyMe also didn't work, I realized that the issue was more likely KeyMe and my particular car. The reason why I didn't rate KeyMe only 1 Star is b/c both times I called KeyMe customer service, I received courteous customer service, and they gave me refund confirmations both times quickly. Moving forward, I'll go to a different group outside of KeyMe to get a new key, but KeyMe does provide good customer service. Also, perhaps they provide better quality for other cars outside of my car's model and year!
