  Used the kiosk key maker and was happy with the results. Previously tried to have copies made with another big box store key maker that failed and tried the KeyMe kiosk with successful results.

  I was not aware of this company until I looked up key copying. I was using Home Depot and Walmart before. However both places kept giving me keys that wouldn't work. I decided to try someone new. It's not actually a store, but a machine. The one I went to was inside the Bed, Bath and Beyond, in the front of the store. It took about 15 minutes to make two keys. It was about $6.40 with tax for each key. Yes a little more expensive then what we are use to paying for a key, but the difference is, I won't have to return it for not working. The keys worked perfectly. I will use them in the future. I recommend them.

  Just wrote the following complaint and hoping to hear back. I had a bad experience with this kiosk and in general do not appreciate the business model: “Hello, I would like a refund for $8.52 for the key copy that was made on December 30th in the evening at the Bed Bath and Beyond in Davie, FL. This key was cut with terrible quality and made with cheap materials rendering the key useless. See the attached image of a terrible laser cut quality and scratched up key. As a side note, I am appalled at how much personal information was requested in the process and at the absurdly high prices. My locksmith can make a key copy for $2 and does a much better job without needing my phone number, email address, or payment information, or any other personal info on file. The KeyMe price of $8 is over 4 times the standard cost of a higher quality key. In addition, the fact that this machine is not part of bed bath and beyond and that there is no customer service that can be provided from someone on site in the moment is absurd and is borderline robbery. In case like mine or others where the machine has issues and there is no one to address the problem in real time, you’re requiring people to reach out afterwards and relying on them having the time and energy to complain. This takes advantage of vulnerable populations who do not have such things. I hope you can remedy my issue but also prevent similar issues from happening in the future by addressing these concerns and changing your business model so as to not take advantage of vulnerable populations. “
