It's just a machine that has no way of making your key while saying your key is rare and cant make it at location. It scans your key and ships them to you days later. Its infuriating because the Menards had a key smithing station that they dont use anymore because this machine stole their job.

When we called they said that it would be $29 for someone to come out and then we would get a quote. We then received a call back from a guy and when we asked how much, he asked, "how much do you have?" We told him this was an irrelevant question and that we would like a quote. The man began to get aggravated and kept asking, "how much are you willing to spend?" Then a man hung up on us and try to call us back numerous times for the rest of the night. We just used a tow company and it was so much easier. For not being professional, kind or customer service friendly, I give 1 star ⭐

I just love you guys. No standing in lines. No waiting in the store for an associate to be found that knows how to use the key machine. I've told ALL my friends. Best wishes for you and the staff there.
