  I called to inquire about getting a replacement key made and the gentleman I spoke to responded that they didn't have any service for the zip code I provided and I could look online or call the dealer and then hung up. I understand not providing service to an area but I would've liked the opportunity to ask more questions, and I feel that it is common to at least ask if there is any other assistance that can be provided instead of promptly hanging up. I'm sure they provide good locksmith services but the service I received was unprofessional.

  I use the KeyMe kiosk at a local Bed Bath and Beyond and really like the fact that I can save my information in the app on my iPhone. Not long ago my son's car key was broken by a mechanic and I had to go through all kinds of hoops to get a replacement, including providing a VIN number to a local dealership to get a key made. The KeyMe service makes it so much easier.

  They were very professional and they got to me in a decent amount of time. I had no choice but to pay the price of $132.00 which I think is absurd. I will never be locked out of another vehicle! I think it would've been cheaper to bust a window out and replace it from pull a part. But hey what can you do if you're 4 hours from home? I may be looking into a new line of work. LOL if you happen to lock yourself out of a car they can help you out no problem. Thanks for the help guys. All in all I can only blame myself for putting myself in the position to need them in the first place. I did go straight to Lowe's and have 3 spares made. I will have a spare for each car somewhere at all times.
