I locked myself out because I rotated my doorknob lock, so I called this locksmith. The first thing they said, and this should have been a red flag, was that they couldn't say anything about cost. The tech called me and the first thing he said was he had to make sure the store didn't mention cost. Another red flag.

The tech comes late and looks at the door for a few seconds and says that this is a complicated situation. I asked him if he could use a lock pick, but he said even with that it would be challenging to pick because he can't see the tool correctly because the door frame would block him from seeing the tool correctly. (He couldn't have used a mirror or phone? I could have help it for him.) He says $350 dollars to complete an invasive procedure. I tell him no and to leave. He says OK what's in your budget? He said he could work with $150. $350 to $150? That's a significant drop suddenly. I say absolutely no after he pulls that, so he says I owe him $55 for just showing up. I understand fees for showing up, but why didn't either the store or he tell me about this fee BEFORE he arrived?

Also, this is all on my Ring camera for evidence.

Standard door lock for my apartment. Price was $185. You’ll get price when they come out.

One word, FANTASTIC! I loved the work they did with my vehicle’s door lock. They responded to my call within several minutes and came to my aide on time. Half of the car keys go stuck in the keyhole and how quickly they took them. I was so amazed by their work and couldn’t thank them enough for helping me out.

Smartest teamwork with the finest and most efficient tools. Worked wonderfully in a short time.
