We ordered a new garage door and opener. The door was delayed due to supply shortages and manufacturer delays. We were originally told it would take 10 weeks and it came in 18 weeks. D&L did call and update us. When it arrived, they quickly set up installation and were on time for service. The opener only came with one remote control. They gave us a generic one for the second one that is very difficult to use. I had to be right in front of the door and take it off my sun visor with direct alignment with the motor for it to work. The new door is so quiet and smooth. Overall we are very happy with the door and D&L.

Torsion spring broke on our garage door. Called D&L first thing in the morning. They scheduled a tech to be out same day. Tech called when he was on his way. He promptly had an estimate ready and had all the parts to fix our door plus upgrade some other parts. The tech finished in a timely manner and our door is working better then ever. I highly recommend D&L for any garage door repair.

Amazing service when we installed the garage door. After installation, a few months later we requested a service since it was still under the warranty. Same guy, just awful service. Not the same treatment as the first time he came to do the installation. Needs to treat existing customers much better.

When our tech went out, he corrected the issue related to our previous work, the issue you called in about, at no additional charge. This work was covered by your warranty. While on site he advised you that you could prevent issues like this from reoccurring by having the door regularly and properly lubricated and maintained. He offered you a tune-up and quoted you a price for this service, which you turned down because we were only providing the additional service at an additional charge. Is your updated review because we weren't giving away our services for free?

While we go above and beyond to help every customer, we can not afford to give services away for free. We are a full service garage door company. We will provide the best discount and the best service possible, but if we gave our service away for free, we couldn't stay in business. When you need a full service company, we are here for you. If, however, you are looking for a garage door company to come out and fix your door for free, you will need to call around, as we do not offer this service. Our apologies.  If you would like to contact us directly about this issue we will gladly work with you to get your door performing optimally at an agreeable price.

The product and installation were great. Would have been five stars, but it took such a long time for delivery. I know that with covid this has been the experience for most products, but just know you will wait months for the supplier to deliver the product.

Unfortunately, there are supply and driver shortages happening within the supply chains. Although, to prevent issues with our customers having to wait months for garage doors, we do quite often order standard garage doors to replenish our stock! When it comes to custom doors, as you received, that is when we do need to place an order with our suppliers for them to make your door! I do hope that clears things up on the delay getting your door delivered and installed. Hopefully soon our suppliers will get back to their quick manufacturing times like we had pre-covid!
